A Week at My Aunt and Uncle's

A Maiden's Collection...
A Maiden's Collection....why did I change the name of my blog? When I first created this blog I called it 'Sveta's News Station'. That was a nice name but, did you ever notice that there wasn't much "news" on my blog. It was mainly pictures, because that is how I express my life and thoughts. So I then decided I wanted it to be called 'Since Pictures Mean a Thousand words.' I liked that because pictures do mean a thousand words. (In my mind they do) :) All along I was wanting to have a name with 'Maiden' in it. I didn't want to copy anyone else, I wanted ti to be my own name that I thought up. Now if you search for a blog by with the same name I thought of I'm sure you would find on or more. I just don't know of anyone who has this name. I chose 'A Maiden's Collection' because it is a young maiden's collection of photos, thoughts, and everyday life. in the "ridges and creeks" (my dad told me we don't live in the "rolling hills of KY" we live in the "ridges and creeks" of KY.) :) of rural Kentucky.

A Horse Ride at a Nieghbors...
This week I am staying at my Aunt and Uncles house. Yesterday we went on a "photo shoot" and I will load those pictures later. We also went to one of their neighbor's house and Isaac (my cousin who is 6) went horse riding while I took pictures. Hope this collage worked, it was something new, so I tried it. In a Tree!
Yes! I'm still alive.....I just haven't had time to blog lately. We are at the library right now, and I just got on the computer, and the facebook wouldn't come on......so I dicided it was a good time to put something on my blog. :) Then I realized I didn't have any recent pictures with me, so I decided I would put a few more from our trip to michigan. Premature baby left to die
Doctors left a premature baby to die because he was born two days too early. Jayden was born at 21 weeks and 5 days old. Doctors refused to help him and he died in his mother's arms two hours later because under current guidelines pediatricians treat only babies born after 22 weeks gestation.
He was born breathing and moving and his mother begged for the doctors to help, but they would not even take a look at him. His mother is now fighting for the law to be changed.

This story is so sad and makes me so angry when I think that they could have just done something! If he had been born just 48 hours later they would have saved his life. All he probably needed was an incubator and he could have lived as they think he died from the cold. Please say a prayer for the laws to be changed......and for our counrty.
